At the conclusion of your case we shall store your file of papers and your data, either in an electronic form or in manual form in paper . This will be retained by us in the storage /computer for a minimum of 6 years or for a longer period as required by the Solicitors Regulation Authority , The Law Society, or our Insurers.
As solicitors, we have a professional and legal duty to keep all our clients data confidential, with one exception. Under the money laundering Regulations solicitors are under a legal duty to disclose information the relevant authorities where it is suspected that a transaction concerning a client involves money laundering.We may have to disclose this without notifying you first or the reasons for it.
